So, would you take Rafa and his team over the current set up and, if asked, would he join us?

Newcastle's trophy record is worse than ours, isn't it?
What have they won since the Inter Cities Fairs Cup?

Remember when Wigan used to hate us? I wonder what division they’re in now.
They’re probably still bitter about us.

Shearer hates West Ham.
Partly this is my fault. During an International friendly England v Australia at Upton Park I saw Shearer before the game at the side of the pitch as I was working at the ground then. Said hello and walked off.
After the game I had the team sheet signed by Ledley King and Alan Shearer. As he was signing it a few people went over to him and said if he was playing we would of won.
My comment was straight forward and I said, Alan you should of signed for Man Utd, you would of won more trophies then retired at Newcastle.
He gave me the dirtiest look and walked off....

Shearer hates West Ham can never quite work out why. Maybe partly to do with the fact that Newcastle are such a poorly run, underachieving football club.

Ive noticed a growing amount of their fans on twitter in particular constantly slagging west ham off and especially declan rice before he shut them up with the goal and celebration.
More recently they started piping up again over west ham demanding £60m for Diop and not understanding we dont want to sell him and claiming it was our arrogance showing.
Also noticed how shearer very rarely gives west ham praise on MOD despite some good results this season.
Quite petty things really, but just little things adding up to make me dislike them.

Manchester United is a shout already made by some in the media.
Benitez has professed his liking of the English NW. And why not. His kids apparently have the talking accents.
Am no expert, but I can't see him going to China! He doesn't seem to be that "money over everything" type.
Homeland may beckon, though. Fuck knows: he's loaded, could easily take a year out. He's 59. I would have guessed he was 5 or more years older. Get down the gym Rafa, son.

Im guessing some of the players who kept them up will probably looking for the out door. Lascelles and Ayoze Perez (and the bloke they spent money on ... Almiron) are probably their most saleable assets and don’t imagine Rondon will be signing for them now. The manager will be someone out of work and free. They’ve had Big Sam & Hughton so maybe Tony PULIS or D MOYES

Maybe, i'd consider starving before working for that arsewomble Ashley. Then again if i was workjng for Spirts Direct that might be a reality.
Anyway i am.glad Benitez is leaving.

Debs, Hughton has more premier league experience now and if he were offered another premier league managers job I'd doubt he'd bite his nose off..........

No. Obviously he's a good manager, but we already have a good manager too, and you'll never be successful as a club if you chop and change every season.

I had great joy informing a couple of barcodes of this news today. Their faces were a picture of sadness. Ho ho.
